(Assistant) Marketing Manager

  • Execute and evaluate significant marketing activities for a full fiscal year (includes Business Excellence programs and sector-specific programs); work closely with Operations, Procurements, Clients and Business Partners.
  • Prepare monthly food programme calendar, key account challenges and actions for presentation to leadership teams, and others; work in tandem with Operators to ensure execution of strong, account-specific marketing plans that address account-specific needs.
  • Be responsible for marketing budget. This is done through monthly review and management of P&L to meet and surpass budget.
  • Provide internal and external communication to clients, customers, Operators, and corporate through various media. Develop new communications tools, such as: quarterly client newsletters, weekly internal Retail Foodservice Bulletin, and attractive/enticing customer advertising pieces for all marketing programs. This is done to increase awareness of initiatives, to keep relevant groups informed, and to maintain communication standards.
  • Work with suppliers and Operations to utilize new or existing marketing programs to support key products and drive Top Account LFL sales.
  • Ensure priorities are aligned across the market by providing direction to Sector Ops Leads in corporate and sector specific priorities. This is done through monthly calls, tracking sales figures weekly, and a monthly top account number review.
  • Work with purchasing, Operations Excellence, Chef Council, and suppliers to introduce new products and menus, plus develop and manage price, volume estimates, and product inventory levels.
  • Work closely with nutrition team to develop healthy food campaigns and engagement activities within units.


  • University graduate in Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • 5 years of marketing or business management. Experience in food service industry is a great asset.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Marketing Manager.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to get things done through others.
  • Strong execution, administration, and analytical skills; able to measure and analyze business metrics and financial results to contribute to organizational success.
  • Excellent communication and good comment of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Strong relationship-building skills applied at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills; great at managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, B2B client facing experience, strong writing skills, knowledge, and passion for food and sustainability.
  • A good understanding of building key stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
